​Washington Township Parks provides before and after school care for the Avon Community School Corporation. Explorer Extended Care is available at all ACSC Elementary Schools and Middle Schools.

Care Options at Our Elementary Schools
We understand that every family’s schedule is different, so we offer flexible options to fit your needs:
- AM Care Only –Start the day with structured activities, games, and a safe environment before school begins.
- PM Care Only – After-school fun, enrichment, and supervised play until pick-up.
- AM & PM Care – Full coverage both before and after school for families needing consistent care.
- Flex Calendar – A flexible, part-time option for families who don’t need care every day but still want the convenience of a reliable program when needed.

- AM Care Only – 6:30am-9:15am Providing a safe environment before school begins.
Explorer Extended Care Pricing
Please see our pricing details below. If parents/guardians choose to set up an auto pay account, they will receive a discount. This means that a saved credit/debit card MUST be kept on file and used for payment. Pricing is based on the number of days in the month. The auto-pay discount does not apply to other discounts or punch passes.
A late fee of $25 will be added to accounts not paid in full by the due date.
Curriculum & Sample Schedules
Each of the school sites will have the same core program components with each school customized to serve the best interests of the students and parents/guardians. Our program prioritizes a safe environment for every student, thus providing parent/guardians a high level of confidence in our team. We also recognize that our program’s success is driven by student voice and choice; therefore, we place a high level of importance on listening to student input and acting upon student ideas.

All elementary schools have the same drop off/pick up times regardless of individual school’s start and dismissal times.​

Financial Assistance Information
Please click the appropriate button below to apply for an Explorer Extended Care Scholarship. Assistance will be available to the first ten students that apply for the program and are eligible for the school’s Free and Reduced Lunch program.
