

The Lead Counselor works closely with the Youth Services Coordinator/Director to help manage daily camp operations, support counselors, and ensure campers have a safe, fun, and well-organized experience throughout the camp season.
Here are some of the responsibilities you can expect in this role:
- Help plan and implement daily camp activities and schedules
- Supervise counselors and campers to maintain a safe environment
- Support camper safety, behavior, and medical needs
- Assist with daily camp operations and program coordination
- Train, guide, and support seasonal camp staff
- Complete incident reports and communicate issues with supervisors
- Prepare supply lists for activities and ensure materials are available

The Facility Staff is responsible for assisting with a variety of special events, facility rental events and other miscellaneous programs offered by the Park and Recreation Department. The Facility Staff member will act as the Event Host during facility rentals. Duties may include setting up and tearing down event/rental items such as tables, chairs, tents, banners, sound equipment, etc. This individual must be able to work independently and as a team player.
