Nature Camp Wilderness Survival Week at Pecar Park

Adventure awaits in the great outdoors! Campers will learn essential survival skills like archery, knot tying, fire building, shelter construction, outdoor cooking, fishing, and nature awareness. Through exciting, hands-on activities, they’ll build confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills — all while being guided by trained staff who prioritize safety and fun. It’s the perfect chance to unplug, explore, and discover their inner adventurer.

Indiana Junior Master Naturalist Camp

Designed for nature-loving kids ages 9–13, this camp gives participants the opportunity to work toward their Indiana Junior Master Naturalist Certification through the Indiana DNR. Campers will explore topics like botany, wildlife, water, and soils while learning alongside experts in the field. Through observation, hands-on experiences, and service projects that support environmental stewardship, campers will deepen their connection to nature and gain the knowledge and skills to help protect it.
